Maria & Anthony Dodds are both 3rd generation Kenyans, aged 34 and 40 respectively. Maria grew up on her Family Ranch in Laikipia, qualified as a chef in UK and started her career as hostess of the Ark, in the Aberdare Mountains.
Anthony left a Game and Cattle Ranch aged 24 to join the tourist industry as manager of The Rusinga Island Fishing Club. It was here that Maria and Anthony met, soon to be married at the Mount Kenya Safari Club in '93. Their two children Chala and George, are presently schooling at Pembroke House in Gilgil.
They now specialise in hosting exclusive Ranch Homesteads. Maria, an avid succulent collector is currently compiling a guide to the Stapeliads of Kenya and loves nothing better than introducing guests to the African plant world. Anthony’s forte', as a one time professional hunter, is walking with guests in "Big Five Country".
